1) Investor Helpline will provide the services to investors free of charge.

2) Registration and lodging of grievance on Investor Helpline would be deemed as acceptance by the user of the terms and conditions of Investor Helpline as well as authorization on his/her behalf to Investor Helpline to take up the grievance with the concerned entity/ authorities as deemed appropriate by the Helpline.

3) Investor Helpline reserves the right to reject or drop investors grievance at any stage, without assigning any reason thereof.

4)After acceptance of grievance, Investor Helpline reserves the right to mark a grievance as ‘Beyond Investor Helpline’, where during follow up process, it comes across information, through some authenticate source like ROC, Exchange etc., that the following proceedings are going on :

Judicial or,
Quasi Judicial i.e. with Company Law Board, reference to SICA (Sick Industrial Companies Act,1985)/BIFR ( Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction ) etc or,
Liquidation proceeding or company has already been liquidated.
Whereabouts of the company not known: Mails sent to the company at its last known address have returned to us as undelivered.

5) Investor Helpline will not assist in litigation before judicial or quasi judicial authorities or arbitration.

6) All decisions/processes related to redressal of grievances would be the prerogative of Investor Helpline and it will have the discretion to change/modify/alter the same, without any notice.

7) Investor Helpline shall not assist/participate once the matter is referred to arbitration through Stock Exchange(s).

8) Investor Helpline will not assist/participate in cases against companies where process of liquidation has been initiated.

9) It must be distinctly understood that Investor Helpline does not guarantee or assure redressal of the grievance lodged fully or partly, or to the satisfaction of the complainant. Investor Helpline will take up the complaint, so lodged, with the authority or regulator, it considers appropriate. It does not imply that Investor Helpline will resort to legal recourse on behalf of complainant.

10) In case the helpline does not find the name of the company in its online database the grievance will not be registered unless the helpline is able to find the company details in its offline database. The user will be able to view the status of his grievance after 72 hours from the time of first registration.

11) Investor Helpline will take up grievances of those securities which are listed on Indian Stock Exchanges and/or Companies registered in India and who have raised deposits from the public by complying with provisions of Indian law and taking permissions from Indian Authorities.

12) The user will receive a password and account designation upon completing the Service's registration process. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and account and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under their password or account. The user agree to
(a) immediately notify Investor Helpline of any unauthorized use of their password or account or any other breach of security, and
(b) ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session. Investor Helpline will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from user’s failure to comply with this requirement.

13) The grievance, if not resolved, within the time frame laid down by Investor Helpline, will be closed and the status will be displayed on the website.
